Masterchef's Monica Galleti has let Essential Kitchens Bedrooms and Bathrooms magazine sneak a look at her brand new Alno kitchen. Designed and project managed by Graham Robinson here at Halcyon Interiors, Monica tells all about how they worked together to create her ideal kitchen; hard-wearing, handleless, modern and open-plan with a large island.
Monica's brief was "a space where I could do photoshoots with ease, as well as somewhere to entertain a big group of friends and family". Monica was very impressed with Graham's design ideas to attain an answer to her brief, "Graham had a lot more ideas that I hadn't thought about, so the design consultancy was an incredibly important element in getting the overall end result right. I was advised to get a larger island than I initially envisioned - it's actually over three metres, which is amazing - but I'm glad of the extra space."
It was a pleasure working with Monica to help her create her kitchen and Halcyon is delighted that Monica is happy - even saying that this is her "ideal kitchen" and there is nothing she would change!
